Giving Thanks

Giving thanks is like facing the truth, it’s all part of the same movement and provides its own juice to keep itself going.
There can be no special day declared to give thanks because the only day available is the one before us now. Each is special. When we act out of confusion then confusion is all that exists but when we respond completely with clarity and gratitude the entire universe becomes apparent.
Whatever you know will not serve you here and can never reveal what you are seeking because the truth never disguises itself. It cannot be defined either. It is simply everything that is at all times. Can you feel the absolute clarity that comes with that realization?
You cannot find it through any religion, philosophy, belief, or point of view, yet the work must continue in earnest. Through understanding comes a deeper sense of satisfaction that requires less to keep its inner fire burning and there is always the space for levity which seems to grow as well. This is the power of grace.
There is nothing on the outside that can ever measure up to the magnificence that is forever present on the inside. When you love yourself only then can you give love.
That’s where the deepest sense of “thanks” resides. That’s when the donor and the recipient become one and the cycle is complete.
So, from that invisible point of no point I offer my thanks to you. I appreciate not only who you are and your unique potential but more importantly what you give back to it all.
I wish to recognize and honour your commitment to understanding yourself. May you remain dedicated to the truth and may you stay peaceful amidst the turbulence.
And most vitally I wish that you may see clearly what must be done and give thanks for the privilege of being the “effect”.
You shine like a harvest moon within the shaded comfort of my heart.
And you have “Deluxe” written all over you.
