Out of the vast expanse that is the universe

Came the silent call which I obeyed

No other choice existed

The feet were moving in rhythm with the heart

As the waves against the beach sang out your song so sweetly

All the life that ever was or ever will be was there as a witness to your grandeur

As the seal glided by and caught my glance

Your audience surrounded me as the gull squawked out his tune

And the raven joined the chorus

There were colours too as the orb was born beyond the sea

Filling the heavens with a cascade of brilliance like never seen before

And on I strode purposefully

With you riding in my heart

Steering me toward the source once more

To the fragrant bosom of your soul

I have disappeared again with you into that romantic hideaway

Which you keep waiting just for me

Candles lit and air filled with hypnotic frankincense and myrrh

The banquet of your love presented once again

I feel you unbuttoning me once more as my pulse races out of control

The anticipation of your seductive touch

Almost more than I can stand

I am receiving you and returning unto your glory

Releasing all that I am or ever hope to be

Giving back all pleasures and assurances to you my love

That you will know I am your chosen one

The one who wakes each morn to greet your arrival

The one who is devoted for all time beyond all space

Carrying your message as a fiery torch of freedom and forgiveness

That all who see me on the path will light up as well

Yes, lay me down before you as I give in to you again

Bless me with your kiss of love

And stroke my heart with your delicate hand

That I would rise before your sacred command

And be your lover just one more time.
