When you are filled with joy do you store it in a basket,

Or spread it o’er the land like a sower in the field,

Do my words of love strip you clean forevermore,

Or are you still hiding quietly behind the door?

 

Step out into the sunlight please,
Let me see your splendour true,

For your beauty has been spoken throughout the realm,

And I’m here to touch it too.

 

Don’t waste a moment longer wondering what to do,

For the instruction manual lies within your heart,

Accessed by just a few

Who realize the power we wield

By loving each other now

And disappearing in the brilliance and delight

Of the Divine who knows just how

To open up your soul and spirit

To receive the benediction

That’s carried on the wings of these words

Despite their feeble diction.

 

I can feel the transcendence coming,

I hear it in the wind,

The fragrance has me completely addicted

As I reach out to touch you once again.

Please look my way just one more time

And my promise to you then

Is to wipe away all tears of sorrow
