If you can’t sing or dance

Can’t even hum a tune

If there’s no joy in stirring colour

Or walking on the beach at full moon

Suppose you don’t care much

About life’s romantic nature

Then I doubt we’ll click together

Not much chance of that I’d venture.

 

So slip out of that jacket you’re wearing

And let’s see what’s underneath

Let’s expose the naked truth of who you are

To the heavens above and oceans deep

And maybe, just maybe baby

We will meet at the edge of the cliff

And jump together at least for the night

And forget all the past never wondering what if

Just revved up for the pure ecstasy of the delight.

 

Let go of all the waiting and the preparing too

For the freedom you are seeking

Is standing right in front of you

Give up all your resistance

Instead, receive the blessing that’s in store

For all hearts both near and far

The ones ready now to fly off and explore

The dominion of the Divine with me

No need to hesitate

For my promise true will to be take care of you

And make sure you’re back home before too late.

That you’re stepping out with me

Cuz my reputation ain’t so grand

With all those who wanna be

The princess from the fairy tale

The one who receives the kiss

From the prince who once was a little frog

And now is offering bliss.

 

So here’s the thing that you must know

Before you leave your nest

That life provides no guarantees

To you or all the rest

But when the lights go down and the music returns

The truth will be revealed

As you and I go dancing cheek to cheek

Across the magic meadow and the field.
