Once touched by the gentle spirit of another being

I’m now flying off beyond anything I can name

Knowing I have the ultimate choice to see things as they are

Creates a shift within that stirs the deepest place

And renders me naked upon the star.

 

There’s no dream that’s as big

As the one you’re in right now

And you’re the director and cast of it all

So take control of the scene

And get your act squeaky clean

And dazzle the audience with your brilliance

And don’t be afraid to fall.

 

Why hide my intentions when the heart is at the helm

Why not say the truth from the very start

Why play any games that just put us behind

When we could be tearing the dance floor apart

I’m not here to offer promises

Heaven knows that’s a foolish plight

I’m here under the bright desert moon

To take you off on a stroll

And snuggle up with you later tonight.
