All the bits and pieces make up the whole, don’t they?  So where do “you” figure into that formula?  Are you on the left or on the right side of that continuum?

 

I recently saw a brief documentary on a news issue about Somalia.  The only tidbits I had heard about Somalia up till then had swirled around the widely condemned piracy of so called innocent ships in international waters.  This time the journalist had pieced together various interviews creating a broader mosaic of what was actually happening “way over there”.  The renegade pirates, whose militant style cannot be condoned, are but a symptom of a deeper illness.  It’s one we all experience and contribute to.  It reminded me of “cancer” which is the bio accumulation of many toxins over time, expressing itself eventually in some horrible fashion.

With this revelation what is the right action?  Who or what is to blame?   Wherein lies the solution?   The truth is not a static thing that can be achieved or hoarded but is forever in motion and revealed in the stillness of the moment.  As things accelerate at an alarming rate we must respond to the urgency of the call or we will most certainly hasten our own demise.

 

If you think you know the truth then take a second look and let the illusion of capturing it slip away.   Understanding is not a cumulative thing and exists only right here, right now.  All the rest is merely a glamourous movie script that we’ve made up.  Relax and be content with the simplicity of the complex because that’s when the lid opens revealing the treasures that lie within.  If you are lost in the field of achievement or acquisition then put down your tools and play awhile.  You can never find what you are looking for in matters of the spirit if you think you will ultimately recognize it for its apparition lies in the velvety fringe of the nameless.

 

When you apply all this to yourself you begin to see that every sign or symptom of dis-ease , whether emotional or physical, is a gift sent to attract your attention.  You can read a library full of books professing a solution to pretty well anything but in the end you have to find out for yourself.  There is no such thing as a second hand experience.   Much of what we think and do makes no sense at all and with the simplest of shifts our impact becomes exponential.  This requires an air of serious intent.  Everything around us also changes in direct response to the changes occurring within.  This is a law, not a concept.

Don’t focus on the bits and pieces for they will lead you nowhere.  Just be there in a front row seat when the curtain goes up and you’ll know exactly what to do next.

Most people are entranced by the struggle of life waiting for someone else to admit responsibility and to make things right. This is foolhardy of course and merely enslaves us further.  We must “take up arms against a sea of troubles, and by opposing end them...” (Shakespeare)  By stepping forward we demonstrate our commitment to the truth and thereby cleanse the slate before each and every glimpse of reality that is offered.  This is the promise only you can make to yourself and out of this will flourish the joy and realignment required to right the ship.  Are you prepared to take the final breath from the past and instead devote your self to the dance that only you and the divine can orchestrate?  Will you be the freedom that is your birthright and will you share this with the multitude in every moment of your life?  Will you be both the student and the teacher of the truth and thereby transform everything everywhere by your very presence?  Will you dedicate your life to being the solution?   There was ne’er a greater messiah groomed for such a role and the stage has been set for your appearance so manifest it well.
