The magic is in the greeting...
Wednesday, May 27, 2009
When I meet another on the path I shall greet him with such a robust yet courteous greeting,
That the right thing will be done.
I will smile or tip my hat regardless of circumstance,
I will not judge or receive judgement in return,
And all will be in accord with the Divine.
When I see you in the glen there shall be a celebration that has no end,
Just as the lover discovering the delicate beauty of the beloved.
The sparkle in my eye will see its reflection in yours and there will be a melding that leaves no trace of either.
My heart will be open and apparent and it will be the invitation to both give and receive.
All energy coursing through me will be the ultimate flow of the spirit of which I am a part,
And the explosive stillness will be profound.
I will recognize and be recognized by my self in total supplication as the circle is complete.
When asked I shall answer and in between the beats I shall remain forever alert and attentive.
My stride will reflect confidence and a sensitive compassion to everyone and everything encountered and beyond.
If asked to stop and share a word I shall do so in deepest respect and reverence,
For we all deserve such a caring touch.
And if an embrace should come my way I shall respond from my respectful heart,
Yielding to the union and being all at once.
Each crossroad will lead me to the same destination where the nest has been prepared by the heart.
And as the dawn becomes the dusk I will hold your hand with tenderness and trust.
It matters not if he be she because all definitions will remain at bay,
For this is when the spirit receives itself and sweeps all our elements away.
I shall stay open to every nuance and respond with honour,
All the while being the benediction itself.
I will know all kindred travelers for they will not be fixed,
Nay, they will be lost like me within the flow of the source,
And there we will connect.
I have seen a few today and tomorrow promises the same,
There is no need to count,
Only remembering the authentic nature of it all,
And thereby giving into the seduction of the truth.
From this place I am content that the blessing is close at hand as I extend my most genuine heart to you.
I ask you to remain alert for I am walking everywhere,
And know that when I find you once again I shall drift back...
Into the magic of it all.
