The song of the heart...
Sunday, September 6, 2009

How goes this melody for you, is it smooth and without a hitch?

Does it lift you off the ground and fling you out to the heavens afar,

Yet holding you, cradling you in the nurturing bosom of the divine?

How does it smell, what are its exotic fragrances

As they waft within the chamber of your beingness?

And the taste, ah the sweet delicate flavour of this freedom,

This freedom that knows no bounds, knows no words,

How can this aphrodisiac be described?

And there must be a touch to it too, an embrace, a gentle exchange of energy

That both electrifies and calms all at once.

This is surely the sacred touchstone that we share, you and I.

How does this feel to you, can you sense it now?

As I sit, as I walk, as I dream through the magic gaze upon the lake, you are there.

All senses piqued to receive you in your infinite grace,

All love in full bloom exploding throughout the realm.

As I breathe you in I am filled with such excitement that I feel my heart will burst,

And as the osprey glides by my door and calls to me I take flight again and suddenly disappear.

You cannot romance it any better than this.

You are the holy sacrament.

You are the joy that I’ve been seeking and deserve,

You are the smile that keeps me safe,

You are the rippling diamonds on the lake and the waving grasses all around my tipi.

You are everything everywhere all at once and I am open to the transformation of your truth.

I am beckoning to you, inviting you to stop and rest within my arms.

Let me hold you as only a lover can,

Let me smell you, taste you until the delirium is complete.

For I have been sent to be your witness and to do your bidding with each and every breath.

This is my honour, this is my intent.

Please...come dance with me, come play with me,

Let’s not delay a moment longer,

For I know no other way.

Passionately dissolving,

Dr. John
