Think back for just a moment on all those people you have been,

Now take the cosmic eraser and wipe the chalk board clean,

Because we’re putting on our dancing shoes,

And stepping out tonight.

It doesn’t matter what you did before because no one gives a damn,

Just look straight ahead into my heart and you’ll catch the master plan.

 

I need no drug nor aphrodisiac to appreciate your inner beauty,

Because when I’m lost within the glory of you,

I am flying like a kite,

So please put down whatever you are doing,

And  let’s get on with the joy of living,

Before the mood can take a swing.

 

You make me feel in each dimension,

Like a romantic hero with a heart,

And I’m just melting for the touch of you,

Can’t wait until the start.

Come, place your gentle finger upon my lip that trembles now,

And off we’ll go o’er hill and dale amidst the alpenglow.

 

I know you’re not quite ready for a cad such as me,

But in the end it’s the only way,

To catch the spirit and be free,

So, don’t never mind about anything,

Least of all what you are wearing,

Because in a moment or two,

No matter what you do,

We’ll be both naked before the Divine and never caring.
